Hair Preparation
- Wash your hair the day before your appointment and blow-dry it straight; please don't wash it the same day unless Roxanne has advised otherwise.
- If your hair is naturally very curly, it will need to be straightened before styling can begin. If this isn't done in advance, Roxanne will need to blow-dry and straighten it first — this counts as two hairstyling services rather than one and is charged accordingly, so blow-drying or straightening beforehand helps you avoid the extra charge.
Skin Preparation
- Apply a moisturizer suited to your skin type before Roxanne arrives — a little more if your skin runs dry, sparingly if it runs oily.
- Put your contact lenses in, if you wear them, before the appointment begins.
- Let Roxanne know about any allergies, sensitivities, or skin conditions in advance of your booking.
Preparing the Space
- Have a table ready, or bed space if a table isn't available. If a bed will be used, please provide a towel (an older one is fine) to protect the sheets.
- A well-lit room is essential — white lighting is preferred, as yellow or orange tones make it difficult to judge foundation shades accurately.
- An air-conditioned room is preferred and helps your hair and makeup last through the day.
- Provide a chair with a high backrest so you can comfortably rest your head back; two pillows are also helpful for support.
What to Have Ready
- Bring a few inspiration photos of the hair and makeup looks you'd like.
- Have your outfit, flowers, and accessories in the room and ready beforehand.
- Where possible, minimize interruptions from children, pets, or family members during the appointment. If space is tight and others will be coming and going, please let Roxanne know in advance.
Timing and Additional Services
- Punctuality matters — please be ready to begin as soon as Roxanne arrives. If she has another booking afterward, she will need to leave at the agreed time even if your session isn't finished.
- Additional help requested on the day — such as adjusting makeup Roxanne didn't do, adding false lashes, or adjusting hair for someone outside the original booking — starts from SGD 10 per service. (OWNER TO CONFIRM before this is published — please check current pricing with Roxanne.)
